This restaurant is a relic straight out of 1965, or maybe 1980. Dated decor, stuffy and just a beat or two off. Our waiter was either senile or just plain forgetful, as he tried to take our order again after we had eaten appetizers. The food was OK--nothing great. Unfortunately, I had a hair in my main dish. In all, it was an odd experience. There is no way this restaurant can keep up with dozens of better options nearby...it's not cheap, the food doesn't distinguish itself and the service, decor and overall ambience are way out of date. My recommendation is if you want to enjoy a throwback or retro meal to a time when the Washington area didn't have a lot of top notch restaurants, this is your place.
